Mr Mixay Phonsavanh, is another hope to win some medals from table tennis competition in Vientiane games 2009. Mr Mixy, aged 23, has been playing table tenis since he was very young, used to participate in many Lao national games and won many gold and silver medals. He also used to participate in international compititions, but could not made it to the final. From all of these experiences, and all the supports from his family and friends, he will try his best to bring some medals for Lao team.

Table tennis game is alike the game tennis, in that case the opponents hit the ball back and forth over the net, while table tennis is played on the surface of the table with paddles and ping-pong balls are used. The main goal of this game is to score 21 points before the rival does. Table tennis is considered one of the most favorite indoor games all over the world.
