Design of the Medal for 25th SEA Games, Laos

The medal for the 25th SEA Games in Laos is designed with inspiration coming from "Pra Thatluang", Laos's national symbol and spirit, combined with Lao National flower (Champa) and Lao national animal (elephants). The medals embody with Lao traditional art with message of the 25th SEA Games.



The medals are 70mm in diameter. On the front side, the medal adopts the logo of the 25th SEA Games and Lao art at the outer. The top marks with the message "50th Anniversary" and at the bottom with the message "25th SEA Games, Laos". While on the back, the medal is shaped with 5 pedals of Lao national flower, and Mr. Champa, and Ms. Champi, the 2 lucky mascots for this game.

Noble and elegant, the 25th SEA Games medal is a blending of traditional Lao culture and the SEA Games spirit. It gives the winners of the Games great honor and acclamation as recognition of their achievement. This logo is designed by D.Southavong from Phetchampa Advertising Ltd.
