25th SEA Games, Laos

(KPL) Laos Airlines bought two new planes from France to cope with the expected influx of air passengers during the SEA Games period.

Head of Commerce Service of Laos Airlines, Mr. Dala Sounthone said that the two new planes were the 70-seater ATR72-500 and their delivery date would be July or September this year.

Presently, Laos Airlines has six planes, two ATR72-20 and four MA 60 and they were used for domestic and international flights.
